Love Like Water

An orchestral fairytale recounting the romance between a common cuckoo named Canorus and a plastic shopping bag named Polyethylene, Love Like Water weaves Dvorak's tender Moravian duets throughout this modern fable which reminds us that when we vilify we cease being curious, while love is endlessly curious and compels us, like water, to the place where we all meet. Orchestration and interstitial music by Lembit Beecher, story by Jazimina Creamer-MacNeil. Love Like Water premiered with the Greater Bridgeport Symphony in November 2019, conducted by Eric Jacobsen with soloists Sarah Shafer, Jazimina Creamer-MacNeil,  Charles Overton, and narration by Keir Dullea.
